Think Positive
a mental health project supported by the Kent Reliance Provident Society Fund and Folkestone & Hythe District Council
The Kent Reliance Provident Society Fund (managed by the Kent Community Foundation) and Folkestone & Hythe District Council is supporting a project where young people take part in debates about mental health. These take place either in spaces within the Academy school, or in our studios, or in the studios at FSG Radio in the Folkestone School for Girls.
Young people get to hear from others about their experiences and knowledge - in some cases they learn that they are not alone in dealing with problems such as depression or anxiety, and in other cases they hear practical knowledge and advice from adult experts in the discussion.
The project is delivered in association with Kent-based mental health professional Lisa Wolfe, the Clinical Lead at Purple Octopus https://www.purpleoctopusproject.co.uk/
