Academy Alternative is 105.9 Academy FM Folkestone's very own indie/alternative music show presented/produced by Luke Cowie and co-presented/produced by Clayton Thomson. Tune in every Wednesday evening 7pm-9pm to listen to the very best music from the popular genre. Expect to hear new music from already established bands/artists and new music from bands/artists you may or may not have heard of before. Also on the show listen to local music made right hear in Kent and your favourite indie/alternative tunes will be thrown into the mix as well. If that wasn't enough for you we will have exciting features including the Album Of The Week, Clayton's Blast From The Past and a Local Gig Guide listing all the live music happening in Folkestone and surrounding areas in the coming week. Every week we will have a new undiscovered band/artist on the phone or a local band/artist in the studio for an interview; and if we are lucky a live performance!
